What's good brothers & sisters?! Welcome to episode number four of the UrbanWordz podcast. What can you expect from this episode? Cliches, cliches, and more cliches! There is a lot of Scripture being taken out of context these days and much of Christendom simply repeats them as mere cliches without giving a second thought to what they're saying, as if it were biblical truth. So, what we're going to do today is dig into the Word of God and take a look at some of the more popular Christian cliches that take Scripture out of context, and then put them back into their proper context. Our song for this episode is Christcentric's song "Cliches" from their album Reformation (one of my favorites). So grab your Bible as we get ready to set these cliches straight with the Word of God and a solid biblical hermeneutic.
Scripture Reference
Philippians 4:13; Romans 4:17; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 18:19-20

...dude your portion is so needed, i love how you're always encouraging people to read the bible for themselves. Our culture is on it's way to hell in a handbasket...this is unacceptable in a free thinking society (a nation that can think freely). Thanks so much for standing up against Goliath! It's so important (gross understatement)!
