What is UrbanWordz?

What is UrbanWordz? UrbanWordz is Trailblazin Ministries' audio version of the holy hip-hop devotions that we do in our daily devotions section of the website. The purpose of this podcast is to give you yet another avenue to hear the Word of God taught in an urban context. This is a monthly podcast that takes a holy hip-hop song, lets you hear it, and then we dig into the Word of God to extract the Biblical truths that were presented in that song, showing you how you can apply them to your life. Aside from giving you the Word, the secondary purpose behind this is to show any of the naysayers that holy hip-hop is indeed a legitimate ministry and that its teachings are based upon the Scriptures, just like any other ministry.

Ultimately, it is our goal to provide you with thought provoking songs that will challenge you in your walk and push you towards a closer walk with the Lord. Feel free to burn these to CD and pass them out to friends as an outreach ministry, along with our other podcasts.
