Episode #21 of the UrbanWordz podcast is on a topic that came about as a result of my studies on 1 Thessalonians. As I got to 1 Thess. 1:5, I began to notice the term "our gospel" and the Lord just took me down a path of studying the significance of the phrase. The result of this is a sermon that I prepared and delivered on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Austin Bible Church, while filling in for my pastor. This lesson is titled "My Gospel: the Uniqueness of Paul's Gospel" and looks at how Paul's gospel was indeed unique, while still preaching the same gospel as Jesus Christ and the other apostles. This study was definitely a surprise to me, and the Lord really used it to open my eyes. There were so many different directions that it could go in, but I think that the Lord took it in the best direction. Enjoy!
