Last time we were together, we started with the initial lesson from the "Read.Pray.Worship.Live." series that looked at having a passion for the Word of God. Today, we're going to start a five part series on the topic of prayer, which is the second part of this study. The title for this study is "Prayer God's Way: The Disciple's Prayer," which looks at the prayer model that Jesus gave to His disciples. Before we get into that though, this opening lesson looks at some of the basics of prayer such as the reasons why we are to pray.
