Album Reviews are Back!

This is just a brief note to let everyone know that we have brought back the album reviews section of our website. Our reasons for removing them in the first place are still legitimate, but we felt the need to bring them back in a limited fashion. As a ministry, we are entrenched in the urban community and a part of the community is acclimated to hip-hop, and we felt it necessary to present music that is on par with what we teach through this website.

With that in mind, our album review section is only limited to a few artists and record labels whom we find to be concerned with reaching the culture through the medium of hip-hop, but with an overarching emphasis on teaching Bible doctrine and giving the gospel message. Those labels would include: Cross Movement Records, Lamp Mode Recordings, and Reach Records, as well as indie artists who also fall into this same mold (i.e. Christcentric or Believin' Stephen). We have an agreement with these artists/labels to cover their music as we feel that it is solid biblically and lines up with the standards that we have here at Trailblazin Ministries.

If we have not reached out to you as an artist/label, please contact us if you think that we would be interested in covering your music. In the circumstance that we choose to not cover your music, please do not be offended, just recognize that we have a very high standard and wish for all the music we cover to fit into very strict guidelines of teaching sound doctrine and a clear gospel message.

Hey LaRosa, there is a local group here where I live named Gen-14... they are some of the most genuine ministers that I know... I asked them if I could try to get their stuff on here or sphere. You can check them out on myspace or itunes.
