HHH Mixtapes Have Gone Away

After much debate and consideration, Trailblazin Ministries has chosen to remove its Holy Hip-Hop Mixtapes page. The purpose for doing so is for the sake of integrity and choosing to walk in holiness. Even at the inception of creating that page, we knew that mixtapes were on faulty ground, considering that most (if not all) of them contain beats that were used by secular artists, and even from other fellow Christian emcees. That in and of itself is not the problem; the problem lies in the fact that it is being done without permission, and is thus classified as stealing, which is a breach of God's Commandments. This same thing also occurs when deejays put together mixtapes and compilations without first getting permission from the artist and/or label to use those songs. Knowing this, we could no longer in our right mind continue to support these efforts and play a part in condoning these sinful acts (yes, it is sin).

As a ministry, we are taking this stand, even at the expense of making both fans & artists mad, because we would much rather have them be mad at us, instead of God. This is not to say that the mixtapes page will not return in the future, but it will be under very strict guidelines, which will be elaborated upon if and when that time comes.

We pray that you can understand this decision and trust that it was in the best interest for everyone. Please do not email us asking if we can send you a mixtape that was used to be on our site, as we will not even take the time to reply to such emails.

If you are an artist or label, please trust that we are still interested in working with you. We are still interested in hosting your free mixtapes and projects (like the United Vision Mixtape series), but we will do it in a manner of integrity. We will ask that your projects contain all original music/instrumentation or show us proof (that we can keep on record on our end) indicating that you have been granted permission to use the music and/or songs that you have.

God bless!

I just want to say thanks you for standing up for holiness. Many people would not have done what you did just because they do not want to go againt popular demand. You find so many christian people in general compromising with the world. It is not just about money and fame it is about doing what the Lord tells us to do. Continue to let your light shine by obeying God not man. Peace and Grace to you.
