Somone gave me this text by R.C. Sproul entitled CHosen By God
I heardand continue tohear about this cat being one of the most repspected theologians out there from the reformed camp. This will be my fist taste of literature by him and a reformed author in general. Any one else read this book before?
Almost a year later I decided to read it. He makes some good points and is clear concering the doctrine of election, D.O.G., but I honestly see him doing a poor job of presenting the alternative views out there on free will and predestination. Its good I guess if you're going in alread leaning towards it but if you'rewanting a consie presentation of the alternative arguments, their premiss, and conlcusion you'll be disapointed. Atleast I was on that note due to his presentation of the alternative views while in explaning the arugments he attacks is without just putting everything out on the table then dealing with the problems. Any who...
