Feeling Empty

I accepted Jesus as my Savior 1995, but I still feel empty a lot of the time. Is that a sign of me not having the Holy Spirit? I believe I am a sinner, believe God raised Him from the dead, and believe He is my sin bearer. When I first got saved my flame for Christ burned like crazy. Every day was like new.It's like I'm burnt out on the Christian life. How do I rekindle the flame, and why don't I sense the Holy Spirit anymore.
What occurred from the time you first believed in Jesus for your 'flame' to go out? Did you stop going to church? Did something happen personally or in church? I think these questions will help shed some light for us to help you with your other questions.
