I'm a big fan of Bibles, especially study Bibles. You could probably label me as a Bible junkie because I'm always buying a new Bible. That's part of the reason why I felt led to write the article on "Choosing the Right Study Bible." There are so many study Bibles on the market that it's hard to know which one you need to buy; I want to help make that process a lot easier so that you're not disappointed when you make your next Bible purchase.

I also thought it was important to do this article because this year (2009) is the hundredth anniversary of the Scofield Reference Bible (1909), known today as the Scofield Study Bible. With that in the forefront of my mind, I wanted to pay homage to such a rich doctrinal heritage and a study Bible that has stood the test of time. So, Trailblazin Ministries is giving away two brand new Scofield III Study Bibles in the New American Standard translation (not the one pictured). This study Bible is at the top of our recommended study Bibles, so it's a Bible that we stand by.

The Rules

The rules are simple:

2 Check out the article "Choosing the Right Study Bible" and leave a comment on that article, giving your thoughts on study Bibles. It can be about anything, from any study Bibles you currently own, how you use them, how you think they're helpful, or whatever, but it must be related to study Bibles.

3 We will randomly pick two winners and contact them via email, to let them know that they've won. If you win, simply reply to the email with your shipping address. If we don't hear from you within 48 hours of sending the email, we'll select another winner.

The giveaway ends on August 20, 2009, so all comments must be left by 11:59pm CST. You may leave multiple comments, but you will only be entered once. Contest is only open to those in the United States.
